Moro Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of Moro ("the App"), a third-party client for Mastodon and the fediverse developed by somincola llc ("we", "us", "our"). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms. The App is also subject to Apple's Standard End User License Agreement.
License
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App on Apple-branded devices that you own or control, in accordance with the App Store Terms of Service and these Terms.
Moro is a client, not a service
Moro connects to third-party Mastodon servers ("instances") that you choose. We do not operate those servers and do not control their content, availability, moderation, or policies. Your use of any instance is governed by that instance's own rules and terms. You are responsible for complying with the rules of the instances you use and with all applicable laws.
Acceptable use
You agree not to use the App to:
- violate any law or regulation;
- infringe the rights of others;
- breach the rules or terms of the instances you connect to; or
- attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer, or misuse the App or any connected service.
You are solely responsible for the content you post, send, or share through the App.
In-app purchases
The App may offer optional in-app purchases or tips, which are processed by Apple and subject to the App Store Terms. Refunds are handled by Apple in accordance with their policies.
Disclaimer of warranties
The App is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with every instance.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, somincola llc shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, arising from your use of the App or from the content, outages, or actions of any third-party instance.
Termination
You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the App, in whole or in part, at any time.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
